Book Report[Tomorrow Series.]

I read 7 books in a series.  This series is called “the tomorrow series” John Marsden.  These books are about some teenagers who went on a camping trip and when they came back everyone was gone.  They found everything abandoned, and everything looked like it had been stolen.  They later found out that there had been an invasion, and the whole town was being held prisoner.  The teenagers, Ellie, Lee, Corrie, Kevin, Fi, and Homer, went back to there camp and hid there.  Later in this book and the series, they fight for their country as guerillas.  These books are really interesting, and you can’t stop reading them.

The Protagonist of this book is Ellie Linton.  She is the one who is talking about everything that is happening.  Ellie is writing in a journal throughout the war, and these books are her journals.  These books are a result of her friends wanting to be remembered.  In the books it says that her friends said that she should be keeping record of everything so they could be remembered if they died.  She writes about everything that happens to her and her friends in the war and, in the last book, what happens to them after the war.

I think the antagonist of these books would be the people who invaded their country.  All Ellie and her friends are trying to do is survive and end the war, and the other country is preventing them from doing that.  These people are doing anything the can to capture Ellie and her friends, and maybe kill them, and they trying to take over more and more land.  Which is really keeping Ellie and her friends from doing what they need to, which is what a antagonist does.

I would definitely recommend this series to anyone.  I didn’t think I would like these books at first, but I know anyone will get so into these books they won’t be able to stop reading.  My sister recommend these books to me, and I read the summary and saw the cover, and it didn’t look at all like a type of book I would like.  But once I started reading them, they soon became some of my favorite book.  So I would definitely recommend The Tomorrow Series.
